Weiser, Idaho is host to many wonderful shops and unique businesses. Second Chance, a local Home Decor & Gift store, is one of them. Located on State Highway 95 between Weiser and Payette, the attractive barn style building is home to several individual entrepreneurs.
Every year on the first Friday and Saturday of October, they host a Fall Bazaar on the well tended lawn about the store. In it’s 13th year, the bazaar attracts many repeat vendors, as well as newcomers like me.

I was privileged to add my merchandise to the venue this fall, and it was great. I joined over 60 other crafters, artisans and vintage collectors in the wonderful fall air permeated with the smell of carmel kettle corn. The bazaar attracted shoppers from all over the Inland Northwest. It was a pleasure to meet so many people, both vendors and shoppers.
My market stall was all about t-shirts, sweatshirts and knitted hats and shopping bags, all embroidered at home on my Tajima Juki Sai machine.

My partner and mother-in-law, Donna, contributed more of her fabulous handmade cross-body bags, sewing kits and credit card wallets.

We introduced a new item, these sweet tumbling leaf banners. The leaf is the same leaf pattern, with the holes for the ribbon or twine on different sides, creating the effect of a leaf tumbling in the wind. They each have a matching fabric inside a different appliqued border.

I had a great time and I’ve already got my spot reserved for next year!
If you want to find me before then, my next event is the Holiday Arts & Crafts Show at the Vendome in Weiser, Idaho October 22nd and 23rd. Hope to see you there!
Some of the items from the Bazaar are still available! Please message me for specific requests and pricing.
